Consultation Program
Neilsens has undertaken voluntary consultation with the local prior to lodging a development application. This program included Community Information Sessions, distribution of a Community Newsletter and distribution of a feedback form. An online feedback form was also linked to this website. Phone and email communications were also open.

Community Reference Groups
Community Reference Groups will be established for ongoing community engagement in the sand and gravel extraction operations.
Please Note:
- Community Reference Groups are currently in the process of being set up and terms of reference will be made available
- Members of the local community were able to register your interest.
- If you are part of a community group, please register only one representative. It is important for diverse interests to be represented on the Community Reference Group.
- Community Reference Groups are ideally comprised of 15 people
- During the development application process, local residents will be able to contact Community Reference Group members with questions and comments
- Names and contact details of Community Reference Group members will be made public via the website (with prior approval).
Community Newsletter
A community newsletter has been distributed to the local community. It includes information about the development proposal as well as details about consultation opportunities and a feedback form.
